Somaliland: President names commission tasked to resolve Kulmiye row

Hargeysa – Somaliland President Hon. Ahmed Mohamed M. Silanyo has tonight issued a presidential decree  # JSL/M/MG/241-3670/112015in which he appointed a commission tasked to review the wrangle that broke out in the ruling Kulmiye party that led to the resignation of major cabinet ministers.

Members of the commission are written below:-

1. Attorney General Hon. Hasan Ahmed Adan

2. Head of Academy for Peace and Development Hon. Mohamed Faarah Hirsi

3. Minister of Defense Hon. Ahmed Haji Ali Adami

4. Chairman of Good Governance and Anti Corruption Commission Hon. Ahmed Mohumed Madar

6. SOLNAC Director of Finance Hon. Abdikarim Ahmed Mohamed alias “Xinif”

Presidential contenders have voiced their discontent over the list of the members of the central council of the ruling party ahead of its national congress.

The commission are tasked to reveiw the registered central council members.
