Somaliland: Education Minister Tenders resignation

HARGEISA– Minister of Education Hon. Faarah Elmi Geedole has announced his resignation just hours ago.

He was among the ministers who is loyal to Mohamed Bihi Yonis camp, the former minister of foreign affairs who resigned yesterday.

Somaliland minister of information also was among the group of ministers who made the mass resignation yesterday but decided in the last minutes changed his mid and kept his post.

He already announced that he is to contest the presidential running mate for the Kulmiye ruling party.

At least 14 officials have so far left from Silanyo’s gov’t as far as the conflict that Kulmiye is faced with.
