Somalia:President Gaas arrives in UAE on working visit

DUBAI-The delegation headed by the president of Puntland Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas , A provincial adminstration in Somalia arrives in Dubai.

United Arab Emirates officials greeted the president upon arrival at the airport.

Mr. Gaas held talks with UAE ambassador to Somalia and discussed on strengthening the ties between UAE and Puntland.

The delegation led by president Gas will stay in the UAE for couple of days to hold talks with its leaders on the current political situtaion in Somalia.

Mr. Gaas is expected to talks with UAE leaders on enhancing the cooperation on areas of mutual interest of both sides.

The President is also supposed to meet with diaspora community that hail from Puntland and are living in the UAE.
