Somali minister says Turkey’s educational system model for us

Ibrahim said there are many Somalis in Turkey studying at Turkish high schools and universities who were expected to take jobs at government offices when they return home.

Somali education minister has said Turkey’s educational system set an example for Somalia, expressing gratitude for Turkey’s support in education.

“If we can implement the educational system of Turkey, we will become a rising star in Africa. Because Turkish educational system is really strong,” Ahmed Aidid Ibrahim told the Anadolu Agency.

Ibrahim said there are many Somalis in Turkey studying at Turkish high schools and universities who were expected to take jobs at government offices when they return home.

“Thanks to Somali students who graduate from Turkish teaching schools, we will try to implement Turkish educational system in our country. And we could ask for help from Turkish authorities in this respect,” he said.
