Saudi Arabia has hosts International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution
Riyadh October 30, 2024(QJ)-Saudi Arabia has hosted the inaugural meeting of a newly formed “International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution,” aimed at establishing a Palestinian state. The alliance, introduced last month at the UN General Assembly, includes countries from the Middle East, Europe, and other regions.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud announced that nearly 90 states and international organizations were participating in the two-day meeting in Riyadh. He condemned the ongoing situation in Gaza, describing it as a “genocide” aimed at displacing Palestinians, and criticized the blockade of northern Gaza.
The meeting in Riyadh is expected to address humanitarian access, support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), and initiatives to promote a two-state solution.
