President Silanyo Meets with Yemeni Investors

Hargeisa, June 08, 2013(SDN) –Somaliland President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud ‘Silanyo’ met today with Yemeni investors and traders at the Presidential Palace in Hargeisa, presidential spokesman reveals. At the meeting, president Silanyo talked about the good opportunities for investment in country, as peace and appropriate legislation makes Somaliland country for foreign investors. The Yemeni investors while showing interest in investment in Somaliland said that their current mission involved finalizing arrangements at the highest levels since initial assessments had already been completed.  Abdul Haq, a Yemeni tycoon who was heading the delegation said that a number of Yemeni companies are expected to pour in Millions of dollars into the local economy. The Yemeni investors departed the country via Berbera international airport after exchanging gifts with the president.
