President Silanyo Meets with Director Generals-(Audio)

Hargeisa, 17 Nov 2013 (SDN) -Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo has on Sunday met with the Director Generals of the country’s different Ministries at his office in the presidential palace. The meeting served as a platform in which President Silanyo encouraged the Director Generals to redouble their efforts in running the day-today activities of their ministries. In addition, president Silanyo encouraged the DGs to come up short and long term plans as the DGs are the central machine of every ministry.

During the meeting president Silanyo also said that the sole duty of every ministry lies on the shoulders of the Director Generals as ministers are busy with different tasks.

Finally, president Silanyo urged all Director Generals to present their accomplishment to general public in order to defend the government against the criticisms made by opposition parties.
