No unity in Somaliland provinces says president Hasan

MOGADISHU—– Somalia president Hasan Sheikh Mohamoud says that his number one priority is to unite the country. Speaking of Somaliland, president Hasan remarked that even Somaliland is not united when it comes to the regions it administers. He reiterated that his sole responsibility is to bring unity to Somalia once again.

 According to the President Media Unit the President made these remarks at the meeting which saw the attendance of Somalia youth in Mogadishu which they discussed the consultative forums on the 2016 elections in Somalia.

Finally, the president urged unity among Somali youth although many challenges are ahead of the country which saw decades of unrest and civil war.

Somaliland broke away from Somalia in 1991 but it has not got the recognition of any country in the world.
