Israeli forces to invade Lebanese territory

Tel Aviv September 30, 2024(QJ) -Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says that the next phase of Israel’s war will begin “soon” amid significant concerns about a potential ground invasion into Lebanese territory.

Gallant stated that in this next phase of the conflict, Israel aims to restore the balance of power in the north and to return residents to their towns and neighborhoods.

Israeli officials have indicated that their operations are not over, despite having killed the Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Gallant mentioned that there is still much to be done regarding Hezbollah. At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a direct address to the Iranian people, claimed that they will be free sooner than the world thinks—though it remains unclear what he specifically meant.

Netanyahu heavily blamed Iran for all the troubles in the Middle East, including the Palestinian groups, Lebanese groups, and others, asserting that they are all Iranian proxies. This has been a consistent narrative from Israel for decades.
