Israeli Forces inter Al Shifa Hospital

Gaza March 23, 2024 (QJ) -Heavy fighting continues for the sixth day near the Al Shifa hospital in Gaza City, where Israel claimed to have killed lots of militants following a significant attack they launched in the strip.

There is no independent confirmation of the Israeli military’s claims.

The armed wings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad stated that their fighters engaged Israeli forces near the hospital grounds of Al Shifa in Gaza City. Hamas claimed to have inflicted heavy casualties on Israeli soldiers and destroyed several vehicles.

Israeli troops entered Al-Shifa in the early hours of this morning, which the military claimed were used for a tunnel network linked to Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups.

Israeli soldiers reportedly caused havoc during the hospital raid, hindering services to civilian patients, and hospital staff, and providing essential supplies such as food, water, and medical care.

The Hamas-run media office in Gaza said Israeli tanks hit several buildings at Al Shifa Hospital and set fire to the operating room and that around 240 patients and their colleagues as well as dozens of medical staff were arrested.
