Iran says it won’t be deterred by US Threats

Moscow (QJ) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that there is “no possibility of direct talks” between Tehran and Washington as long as the Trump administration continues its policy of “maximum pressure” against Iran.

“Iran’s position on nuclear negotiations is clear, and we will not succumb to pressure and intimidation,” Araghchi said during a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

“There is no reasonable basis for direct negotiations with the United States as long as the maximum pressure policy remains in place,” he added.
