Hezbollah Shells a major Israeli military base

Lebanon July 08, 2024(QJ) -The Hezbollah organization attacked a major Israeli military base using drones and heavy rockets. The attack specifically targeted the Israeli base on Mount Hermon, located in the Golan Heights, which Israel occupies from Syria.

A statement from Hezbollah indicated that the drones and heavy rockets struck the Hermon base, and they claimed the attack caused casualties among Israeli forces.

Hezbollah stated that this attack was in retaliation for Israeli strikes that had previously killed their officials. They emphasized that they would only stop attacking Israel if Israel ceased its attacks on Gaza.

The Hermon base, targeted by Hezbollah, is crucial for Israel as it is used for monitoring and defense, particularly for espionage and air defense operations concerning activities in Syria, Iraq, and Jordan.
