Hamas set to release three Israeli hostages tomorrow

CAIRO (QJ) An Israeli government spokesperson stated that Hamas must release three prisoners on Saturday; otherwise, Israel will resume its military operations in Palestine.

Hamas confirmed its intention to release the three Israeli prisoners as planned on Saturday after delaying the prisoner exchange earlier this week, citing Israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Hamas officials held talks in Cairo with Egyptian and Qatari mediators to address key obstacles, including Israel’s restrictions on heavy machinery and mobile homes entering Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry updated the death toll to at least 61,709, with thousands still missing under the rubble, presumed dead.

At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks, and more than 200 were taken hostage.
