GCC Sec-Gen meets Somali and Yemeni Presidents

Kuwait, Mar 26 (BNA) – GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today in Kuwait, met the Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, on the sidelines of the 25th Arab Summit that concluded today.
The parties discussed enhancing cooperation relations between Gulf Cooperation Council and the Republic of Somalia in all areas and reviewed topics of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.

GCC Sec-Gen highlighted supporting Somalia’s security and stability and meeting the Somali people’s aspirations.

GCC Sec-Gen today also met the Yemeni President, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and discussed the Yemeni efforts in promoting security and stability in Yemen and the implementation of the outcomes of the Yemeni Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference.

Yemeni President hailed the GCC’s support for Yemen in the current stage.
