Djibouti-Canadians welcome Hussein Abdourahman Djama Andholeh nomination as USN representative in Canada

Ottawa Dec 10,2013(SDN)-On Saturday, December 7th, Djibouti opposition umbrella USN leaders in an unanimous vote decided to nominate Hussein Abdourahman Djama Andholeh as their  representative in Canada.

USN militants throughout Canada welcomed this landmark decision with joy since Hussein Andholeh , as he is commonly referred to,  was during the last decade the face of the struggle against president Ismael Omar Guelleh.

He spearheaded dozens of protests and produced countless  video events in his fight for democracy. He was also the go to guy anytime a leading opposition figure (like Mahdi Ibrahim God, Jean Paul Noel Abdi or DAF) came to Canada to drum up support for political change in Djibouti.

Because Hussein Abdourahman Djama Andholeh brings an impeccable militancy pedegree to the table, his nomination is already acting like a shot in the arm for USN in Canada. Membership is expected to swell into the thousands in  the next couple of weeks.

With Hussein ANdholeh at the helm, USN will double up on lobbying activities among Canadian officials and political mobilization of the size able Djibouti diaspora.

Hussein is the youngest son of the legendary Djibouti freedom fighter Abdourahman Djama Andholeh who gave up his life for his country.
