Deadly clan fighting erupts In Gedo region

Luq (QJ) -Reports from Luq district in the Gedo region indicate that a heavy conflict has erupted between two clan militias.

The clash is described as intense, with both sides using various types of weapons, resulting in casualties, including deaths and injuries.

Confirmed reports indicate that one person has died, while two others were injured in the fighting.

Traditional elders from Luq are currently making efforts to mediate and bring the conflict to an end.

This renewed clash between the two clan militias comes shortly after a recent peace agreement was brokered between the clans who share the area.

So far, security officials in Luq have not issued any statement regarding the renewed conflict.
