Danish People support Palestinian statehood

Copenhagen November 07, 2024(QJ)  -A survey conducted about the Gaza conflict has shown that 54.3% of Danes support banning the export of Danish weapons to Israel.
Human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, have repeatedly called for an arms embargo on Israel, citing numerous human rights violations.
This survey, conducted by Analyze Danmark for the Danish magazine Puls48 between October 31 and November 5, also found:
Nearly 70% of respondents believe Denmark should increase pressure on Israel to ensure humanitarian aid to Gaza.
About 45% of people support Denmark backing South Africa’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding allegations of genocide in Gaza.
Around 59% of respondents favor Denmark officially recognizing Palestine as an independent state.
Nearly 55% support a national ban on products made in Israeli settlements.
