Conversation with a Fool

The Doctor : So you are a member of the Kulmiye party for almost about 10 years.

The Fool :  That is about right.

The Doctor :  So you are loyal to the Kulmiye Doctrine.

The Fool : I guess you are right.

The Doctor : Well , then you know what the name Kulmiye means.

The Fool : I never thought of that . What does it mean.

The Doctor : Kulmiye is the name of Siilanyo’s eldest son.

The Fool : Oh is it? That is news to me.

The Doctor : See now you know!!

The Fool : Yes ; but wait a minute . So what if it is the name of Siilanyo’s son ?

The Doctor : That tells you a great deal about this party. Here comes the party doctrine . It means that you are loyal to Siilanyo and his son . It is like the Canadian Citizenship Oath that tells you to be loyal to the  Queen and her heirs.

The Fool :  I still do not understand . I think you are joking!!

The Doctor: Listen to me .  Joining a political party is being loyal to an idea. Here in Canada ,  if you are loyal to the idea of conservatism ( Wealth and tradition) you join the conservative party.  If you are loyal to liberalism (Sharing wealth and progressive activism) you join the liberal party . If you are for the poor you join the New Democrats .  Same in USA or England.  You join the party that has the name of the idea you believe in .  Even in Somaliland UCID is the party of justice and welfare , if you believe that you join them.  On the other hand the WADANI as is obvious from it’s name , the National Party , so if you believe in the nation you join them . However ,  Kulmiye is the party of Siilanyo and his son and anybody of the same family .  Therefore if you are loyal to them you join that party.

The Fool : Now  I understand .   They tricked us .  Let me ask you : Was there ever a party like that in history? 

The Doctor : Not that  I Know of .

The Fool : I am no more a member of the Kulmiye Party .

The Doctor : Now you are a reasonable man.

Reasonable Man ;   To hell with Siilanyo and his son.
