China dismisses removing Palestinians from Gaza

China has also called for the “complete and effective implementation of the ceasefire agreement” and a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.

Beijing “opposes the forced displacement of the Palestinian people and hopes for a comprehensive and effective implementation of the ceasefire agreement,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty during a phone call.

“Gaza is part of the Palestinian territories, and its future must be determined by the will of the Palestinian people,” Wang stated.

The plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, which aims to exert pressure on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, has sparked widespread international criticism.
