Brexit, what lies ahead !!!!!

A referendum was held at the 23th of June and the reslut has shocked people within the united kingdom but also across the world, british and EU politicians did not see this coming. The majority of people where confident that the british citizens would vote for Britain to remain in the European Union, but the chose to exit.This referendum has brought up old conflicts that is prohibiting the European union from being able to create a common ground.

The events from yesterday is historical and is going to change the political landscape throughout the world. Great Britians current primeminister David Cameron will in fact go down in history as the man who forced the European, as well as the international relationships, to change. This is incredibly unfortunate and many politicians across the world in now blaming Primeminister Cameron for the challenges that is to come. The conservative party leader held a pressconferance at the 24th of june to adress what is to come and he annoncued that he will resign from his post in order to give Britain a fresh start.

We are going to see a much clearer polarization in Europe with Britain leaving the union. There are already politictions who are calling for a vote on whether or not their countries should remain th the EU, there among France and the Netherlands. It is now important for the EU representatives to handle this exit in a cautious way beacuse the signals that the coming negotiations between Britain and the EU will send, might determain the European unions future. Leaders across Europe is now trying to give people an impression of unity. The chanchellor of Germany, Angela Merkel and the French president Francis Hollande has scheduled to meet at the 27th of June with representatives from Luxemburg and Belgium to determine how the European relationships is going to work and develope from now . You can not however overlook the fact that the populistic forces might grow. The facist, racist and nationalistic parties across EU is probably going to make an example of the united kingdom and the disputes whitin the countries are going to be dameging.

Besides the fact that has been stated, Russia might gain significantly more power in eastern Europe beacuse the EU is weaker whitout Britain. The united kingdom might as peviously stated fall apart beacuse of conflicts within their union, with Scotland finally breaking free and Northernirelaland reuniting with the republic of Ireland.

This situation might however benefit Somaliland and help its case of getting recognition from its former colinizer England. This would be possible beacuse of the simple fact that Britain now can lookout for its own interests. Southern Somalia and Italy does not have any interest in supporting Somalilands independence and that is where Britain can come to play a huge part.
