A Delegation from UK based Investment Firm Arrives In Somaliland

HARGEISA– A delegation from an investment firm based in the UK has arrived in Hargeisa today.

Minister of Health of Somaliland Hon. Suleiman Isse Ahmed has greeted the delegation at Egal airport upon arrival.

It is headed by Hon. Saeed Harir Dirie who is an educated guy from Somaliland but lives in the UK.

The mission of the delegation is to construct the largest hospital in Horn of Africa in Somaliland.

The hospital will be erected at Toon which lies in south of the capital.

Mr. Saeed who spoke to the press stated that their intention is to build a hospital with quality services and will be a center for medical studies.

He added that the new hospital will accomodate more than 750 beds and hoped that more than 1, 500 students to graduate on yearly basis.

He further said that he is accompanied by international investors who are interested in investing Somaliland.

One of the investtors has said that he is absolutely delighted in the pleasure to be here in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

Traditional cheif who was among the people who received the delegates at the airport has expressed that he is happy with the arrival of the investors and the project that they are about to carry out in Somaliland.

Health minister has welcomed the investors to the country.
