Diminished Future Generation

In a recent Scientific Research prepared  by some medical doctors, psychologists, and psychotherapists from WHO, ( World Health Organisation ).  The health committee released a Scientific communiqué referring that the majority of the young generation in Somaliland are suffering from a mental disease called INSOMNIA.

The majority of the youth in Somaliland find themselves awake at night, ruminating about the events of the day in the political arena.  Do you toss and turn, worrying about what Mr.Silanyo and his henchmen have to do in the morning to come, or what they did earlier in the day before?  If so, you are not alone.  In fact, Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder faced by the general  population of Somaliland today.

The most common complaint in those of you who have trouble sleeping, is having “ a noisy mind “ .  Sometimes, no matter how hard you try; it seems that you can not silence all the internal dialogue going involuntarily through your mind.  So what do you do when your mind is spinning and your thoughts just won’t  stop.

Traditional treatment  for Insomnia is usually focused on medication that promote sedation rather than the behavioural, causes of Insomnia.  Unfortunately, medication can often lead to addiction, and a host of other side effects.  When the Report reached the concern of Mr.Silanyo,  he referred the public masses to get and read his new book that is  an accessible, enjoyable, and grounded in evidence – based  ( on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

A Book directly addresses the effect  of Rumination – or having an overactive brain on your ability to sleep well, written  by his top psychotherapists Mr.Herse with the jack knife,  and  the beloved womanizer actor of the Turkish Film series, called Hanad, the Minister of the Civil Aviation of Somaliland.  They are both, expert and specialized in Sleep Disorder.

The Book is available at the Mr.Silanyo’s RRU Head Quarter free of charge, as an antidote of sleep – disorder.  It contains helpful exercises and insights into how you can better manage your thoughts at bedtime, and finally get some sleep.  A small formal book which is easy to read and light weight, making it perfect for late night reading.

The book is called,  ( Goodnight My Mind) .  By reading that Book, you can turn off your noisy thoughts and get a good night’s sleep, according to the brochure published by the Oval Office of Mr.Silanyo.

Mr.Herse, you are not there in our own Oval Office as a merit to your sacrifice, and beads of sweat that you have spent in our days of doom and gloom; nor because of your qualifications, experience, and knowledge.

You are there simply because you are the nephew of that left handed  – man that sleeps on the toilet room whenever he is called by the nature.  Just as simple as that.  Please go home, and look for where you belong to.

Don’t be mad at me. Truth always brings division between right and wrong.  Bear in mind that every crown is made for a head, but every head was not made for a crown.  Neither you nor the green false doctor can be a good sales – man for our cause; to convince unwilling listeners to buy our commodity.  A good doctor can treat both the patient and the disease.

But the doctor’s faults are covered with earth, and rich man’s with money.  If the doctor cures the sun can see it; if he kills the earth hides it.  That is why they say that doctors buries their mistakes in the cemetery, and Herse – Gab buries it  in the Oval Office of his step – father.

Mr.Herse, management is doing things right, while leadership is doing the right things.  If your actions inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.  You are a leader.  These are my favourite leadership quotes.  Now it is you turn.

Which of those quotes speak most to you; and which qualities make you a likeable leader?  Mr.Herse, I can see your eyes darting from face to face.  Shaking your head  with anger, and in disbelief.  Your arms flailing with every heated word that have spilled over my dirty mouth.

You are almost to order your terrorist RRU RED BRIGADE MAFIA to open fire with live – ammunition for revenge.  I can imagine now you are speaking in rapid fire of insulting words and curses.  Because your ideal of prophecy of your old scenario that you had unveiled in the past is  your true picture.  But don’t worry. Talk is a cheap, barbers give it away free with the hair – cut.

Those of you who love and adorn the Mother – In – Law from hell ( Tribalism ).   All you have is a hammer;  and all you can see seems to you as nails.  So that, get the hammer because I am a a fly that is running on your nose.  I won’t blame you.  Because truth always brings division between right and wrong.  My intention is not to harm or upset Mr.Herse.  But all that I want is to identify Mr.Herse’s  identity and to point out his true  colors.

Naturally, some people born to lead and some people like me and Mr.Herse are born to follow.     Some people like our own utilitarian and the genuine icon of our soul  in Somaliland, Mr.Mohamed Hashi Elmi, and our own Florence Nightingale, the Iron lady of Somaliland, Mrs.Adna Adan Ismail are naturally born to lead.

While some people like me and Mr.Herse with the jack – knife,  are born to follow.  But here in Africa,  we always break and upset the rules of the mother – nature.  That is why we always regret the past, and always encounter sorrow,  and depression in the present,  as a result of our short  – sightedness in our preparation for the coming tomorrow.

Heavy weight and burden of our previous mistakes eventually brings the present taste of bitterness, and nostalgia of wistful memory of the past.  Simply because we are a nation blinded by the gold – dust,  of the Mother – In – Law from hell.  (  Tribalism ).

Electing our political leaders, according to their tribal gravity and tag – muscles, not according to their knowledge and experience.   Then later,  blaming Allah for everything bad that happens.  Always giving our mandate to heartless leaders  that  are being wrapped up and inoculated with the Virus of greed and selfishness.  Hoarding dirty – money while their masses live on the edge of poverty and eating the bugs.

Our future generation from universities are risking with their lives,  and  voluntarily endorsing illegal immigration in between the devil and the dead  – sea, as a result of despair, future shock,  and being despondent.    Or even more worse than that,  joining Al – Shabab,  the terrorist Organisation, parroting the western world perception.

When I recall in my memory,  an anecdote of an  incident that I encountered  in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, sometime in Feb, 2013.  My stomach turns sick, and I feel motion – sickness,  and almost to vomit.  A Somaliland girl evicted from a hotel because her relative in overseas couldn’t send her the bill on time, and she couldn’t afford to pay the rent for the night.

When she introduced herself to me after I asked her about her roots.  I knew the family she belongs to.  After reading her mind through interrogation, and asking her some leading questions.  I came to the conclusion that she is true about she was saying.   She also told me a lot of abhorring stories that happened to her classmates and intimate school friends.

As an honest intruder when you look and talk to her; you could tell from her appearance, attitude, and shyness that she never seen the heat of the sun before now.   When I asked  her why she is risking with her life, and if she scares death.  She broke in to tears and replied to me by saying,  “  death to me is no more than passing from one room to another.  Who knows in that other room  in heaven, life may be better than being a burden on my poor family  who had raised me for more than twenty years, and up to now I couldn’t support myself “ .   That proved to me  how desperate and despondent she is.  A sick feeling started to twist in my stomach, like a motion sickness.  Can any one of our political leaders dare to put his feet on her shoes.

I guess no one of them even cares about her dilemma.  They can’t see anything beyond their house – hold.  Mr. Minister, Imagine if your daughter or sister was in her situation.  Mr.Silanyo, that is the true reflection of your people whom you are claiming that you are their leader.

In the contrary, some of your top aides and ministers who never had in the past, more than one pair of shoes,  are dinning on the moon, and buying luxurious castle – houses in Canada, and some other places in Europe and the United States.  Just one year after you have appointed them to office.  If you seal the lips of the Somalilanders , and you insist  in denial.

We know where to file our case.  We will appeal to the impartial court of Revenue Canada for the yearly Income Tax.   Mr.Minister, never try to lie by pointing your finger to your dry lips.  The white man has a Lie  –   Detector machine and he can detect  even the needle in the ocean.  Never try to act like a dummy African Kudhu who plays on fire.

Dear reader, that scene reminds me of the song called, “ this is a wild world “ .   The only one thing worse than being blind, is having sight but no vision.  Mr.Silanyo, your difficulties  isn’t living with others, but  it is understanding them.  Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear, and the blind can see.   Mr.Silanyo, living under constant dread, and fear from your RRU, Plus the apprehension of being sold against our will, and being transferred like a mere brute, is too much for the Somalilanders to stand.  We will stand it no longer.

We will do, what others have done.   Mr.Silanyo, for how long you expect us as Somalilanders,  to put our sword in it’s case and sue for peace?  Love is a battle, love is a war, love is a growing up.  Nothing is a waste of time if you use your experience wisely.  To find a girl’s faults, praise her to her girl friends.  A printer consists of three main parts: the case, the jammed – paper – tray, and the blinking red light.  Mr.Silanyo,  a river cuts a rock , not because of it’s power, but because of it’s  persistence.

Worse than that, the UNO envoy to Somalia is threatening us with an embargo, and economic sanctions.  Mr.Ambassador, your monthly tip covers only the utility bills of our big brother and his henchmen.  Somaliilanders have no a clue of your dinning menu for the lunch of the day, for more than three decades.  Owing to that, it makes no difference to my frying – pan  which was inactive, and out of order for the last three decades.

Your Law of diminishing Returns, has no effect in our daily empty dish. Please put the shoe on the right foot.  Mr. Lilly white, I don’t blame you, and you are excusable.  Because those who have , have no a clue of those who have not.

Mr.Silanyo, believe on yourself and don’t let others to define who we are.  Tell the International Community who we are, and what we want, and how  we want to shape our own destiny.

That will make a gold – mark in your political status and biography for the coming generation.          You have to lead, don’t be a follower.   It is OK to visit your past, just don’t bring all your luggage with you.  People seem to get nostalgic about a lot of things they weren’t  so crazy about the first time.

Were there none who were discontented with what they have, the World would never reach anything better.  Wilson Churchill once said, the definition of a fanatic person is somebody who opposes your opinion, and does not change the subject – matter.  Mr.Silanyo, plan ahead, it was not raining when prophet Noah built the Ark.  Everything is sketchy in your World of fantasy and fame.

Dear reader, Some of my intimate friends ask me constantly why I don’t write about the illegal immigration, and the suicidal mission of our youth in Somaliland.  I wish if they could read my mind and see that I, myself, is setting my hook and loop, and preparing my yacht for cruising.

Because one’s feelings waste themselves in words, they ought all to be distilled into actions; and to actions which bring results.  Writing to me is an expression of my freedom, and a relief to my aching, stressed , desperate heart of mine, and plus to others who wears the same shoes of mine.  Because the pen of freedom, sets it’s merit forth, like a guiding star on a stormy night.  But there is no so blind as those who will not listen.

Mr.Silanyo, Don’t go where the path may lead, go instead where is a path and leave a trail.  Mr.Silanyo, remember that you are not in a barren land.  There are a lot of genius and smart enough guys around you, to represent you in the World political Arena in good faith.  Why you always pick up the bad apples.

This living under the constant dread of ignorant characters like Herse, plus the apprehension of being sold against our will, and transferred like a mere brute, is too much for us to stand.  We will stand it no longer.  What other have done, we will do.   Mr.Silanyo, if you don’t see yourself as a part of the problem, you can not be part of the solution.  Heroes are not just mythical characters.  They are examples of you at your best.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First by reflection, which is the noblest; second, by imitation, which is the easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. Thank You for being patient and a good listener.

Mr.Silanyo, John Maxwell said, a man must be big enough to admit his mistake, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.

Your side of the road is always dusty.

Yusuf Deyr, Edmonton,Alberta.
