Al Shabaab blames the west for blasphemous movie,urges Muslims to retaliate

Mogadisho (SDN)-Somalia’s Al Qaida militants blame the west for blasphemous movie and not Hollywood and media houses who have been having a field-day with the story.

Al Shabab spokesperson Sheikh Mohamoud Ali Rage who spoke with AFP urged Muslims around the world to attack the west for the “insult”hurled at Prophet Mohamed Peace Upon Him.

“The Shebab mujahideen are urging people of Somalia to show their love for Islam and particularly to our Prophet Mohammed by making attacks against the West,” Shabab spokesman Ali Mohamud Rage told AFP by telephone.

Mogadisho was one of the Muslim citeis which exprerienced an uproar from an angry residents who were upset at west for producing the Movie.

Al Shabab controls large swathes of the troubled country despite loosing control of the capital Mogadisho.

Al Shabab spokesman did not specify his treat to the wast but underlined the sacrifices needed to counter what he called the siege Muslims are under.

“There should be great sacrifices when your country is under occupation and your religion is also under siege.”said Rage.

12 Muslim countries around the  world experienced demonstration related to the blasphemous movie.
