Somaliland Leaders Look For Power To Enrich Themselves And The People Around Them.
Somaliland leaders look for power to enrich themselves and the people around them.
Somaliland leaders look for power to enrich themselves and the people around them. The real problem is that very few somaliland people know what democracy is and how the Government works: Some go to tribal system, some go to british written dictionary, look at law books during their fake schooling time, some look it in the google, some read historical party manifesto written in China, Europe, whatever sources they can get, even in Africa. Some just hear the word democracy when a minister shouts it or an Mp or a fellow somalilander who just heard the word democracy.
But actually what is democracy: I still think that democracy starts in the house where you live in with your wife and kids. You can not expect democracy from Siilaanyo, Riyaale, and so on, or your MP etc, while you yourself practice dictatorship in your own home.
Somaliland leaders look for power to enrich themselves and the people around them. Some go to an extent of rewarding their tribal kingpins. From X, Y And Z, etc, the fellows have been real fortune. Siilaanyo has however worked very smart, he recruited almost all his family members in the dining table and it’s really their time to eat.Weep not Uncle for our time to eat will surely come! what kind of a human being are they.
Not only must we need President who understanding democracy and with a good grounding in Law and who respects the Law, we need to elect more legal minds into Government from MPs, Ministries and Governors…just so that…if the law is not seen to be done in future ( like we have today) we cannot blame any anyone less intelligent of the Law for being ignorant of the Law.
The People will not be satisfied nor feel secure and free before we can see the Law being done…whether it is to a pocket thief, ones Government Inspector himself. No-one with BAGGAGE should have the audacity to stand for any elective office…but just look at them !
Then look at those promoting them…looking for crumbs then look at those promoting them….who love them, even blindfolded. At least they are in for a vetting session this time. No, Big name or wealthy man, we need decent people whatever their background to lead us. So let us look for decency and moral uprightness rather than academic qualifications. Also let us avoid voting for wealthy guys whose sources of wealth are dubious.
Does it make any sense to always cry foul when the rot corruption had caused our society is exposed and also to scream blue murder when the thieves who steal public money but donate same to political party.
