Somaliland Minister of Aviation and Civil Transport on a Working Visit to Montreal, Canada.

The Somaliland Minister of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, the Hon. Mohamoud Hashi Abdi arrived in Montreal, Canada on Wednesday November 29th, 2011. The Hon. Minister led a delegation that included the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Ahmed Dalal Farah. The minister and his delegation met with the senior management of the Technical Cooperation Bureau of the United Nations International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). 

The Minister met with Mr. Ivan Galan, head of the TCB-ICAO and the deputy Mr. Peter J. Noad at the organization’s headquarters in 99 University Street, Montreal, Quebec. The Hon. Minister Mohamud Hashi Abdi discussed with the UN-ICAO management matters relating to the Civil Aviation 

The Minster and his Director General also discussed civil Aviation issues related the CACAS-ICAO Project which manages the Aviation of Somaliland.
