Israeli forces shell Lebanon in retaliation

Beirut July 28, 2024(QJ) -The Israeli military has bombarded areas in southern and eastern Lebanon after accusing Hezbollah of firing rockets that killed 12 young people in the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, which is under Israeli occupation.

The Lebanese group Hezbollah has denied any responsibility for the rocket attack in the Golan Heights region controlled by Israel.

Local media outlets showed a video of the Israeli raid, which targeted a house and caused material damage to it.

The Lebanese National News Agency said that an Israeli military drone later targeted the town with a second raid.
