Duo Reporters Hijack Somaliland Independence
MOGADISHU-—- Two reporters from Somaliland have gone to Mogadishu in order to attend a meeting organized by the ministry of information of Somalia.
In an address to joint session of Somaliland parliament, president Silanyo has accused the SFG of constant interfering its internal affairs.
Somalia has achieved its goal in using Ahmed Abdirahman Hirsi alias “Heelo” as a vehicle to dismantle the journalists unity.
Mr. Heelo is the editor of local newspaper that supports Somaliland’s current administration led by Ahmed Silanyo.
Mr. Heelo has facilitated to the deputy prime minister of Somalia and the minister of information to shuttle between Mogadishu and Hargeisa to see reporters from Somaliland to attend the meeting held in Mogadishu.
Mr. Abdirahman who works for Horncable Television in Somaliland has close cooperation with Deputy PM of Somalia and the minister of information.
The mission of the meeting in Mogadishu is to unify Somalia and Somaliland when it comes to the media bill which the Somalia Federal Government president signed into law just a couple of days ago.
The minister of information of Somalia, Ahmed Abdi Hayir alias “Mareye” has given the duty to convince reporters from Somaliland to come and attend the conference.
Finally, the rookie and novice reporter from Horn Cable TV, Mohamed Ilig has agreed to go and attend the conference held in Mogadishu which was aimed at dismantling Somaliland unity.
Somaliland minister of information has not so far talked about the two journalist that went to Mogadishu.
Somaliland authority arrested lawmakers, singers and other politicians that went to Mogadishu.
