Somaliland :Justice should be delivered to the people of Daami in the capital

A great number of people  in Somaliland and particularly in Daami district of the capital are despised, segregated, exploited and abused because of their ethnicity .

Somaliland  government is aware of the issue and has entertained the matter since secession in 1991 .
People of Daami are mainly of descendants from skilled minority who helped Somalis in making equipments such as  machetes , spears , arrows and also shoes . These are skilled people  who earn a living through their expertise and not through clan favouritism or support.

Today Somaliland imports goods worth of millions of dollars that could have been made locally by the despised skilled people of Daami. Somaliland people  need to look into diversity and grow up beyod Isaaqism. We need to welcome others to the power sharing to make this county great
Unless equality is maintained in Somaliland , no sustained development will ever be achieved .
