Turkey not sincere about Somaliland’s secession-an MP says

HARGEISA– Hon. Said Elmi Roble, member of Somaliland house of assembly has talked about the meddling of Somaliland affairs by Turkish government.

Mr. Roble has made clear that the Turkish government is strongly against Somaliland’s secession and statehood.

Mr. Said Elmi has revealed that Turkey is not sincere about the talks between Somaliland and Somalia.

He stated that the Turkish government is determined to destroy the system og governance in Somaliland.

He cited that the Turkey’s proposal to bring the elders from Somalia and Somaliland is to resort to pave the way for the tribes from both sides to talks and reach a decision.

He announced that the sole intenstion of Turkish government is to use the outcome as an excuse to dismantle the government of Somaliland.

He sent warning messages to countries that are involved in meddling Somaliland’s internal matters.
