Repair Begins to flood-damaged roads in Somaliland-video

HARGEISA- The Minister of Presidency, Mohamoud Hashi Abdi who assumed office just a couple of days ago has embarked on an inspection tour to flood-damaged roads today.

The Minister has overseen the ongoing efforts undertaken by Road Authority staffers whereby the minister for presidency is in charge of.

Fall rains just started to pour down yesterday and due to heavy rain all across the country left many roads that link Hargeisa to Berbera being damaged in the aftemath of the floods.

Dhatis is a place that lies the road linking Hargeisa to Berbera and efforts to repair the flood damaged road gets underway.

Much of the poured rain yesterday saw that the Berbera-Hargeisa corridor has been badly damaged.

The road linking Hargeisa to Berbera has been rehabilitated by Somaliland gov’t thanks to the shrewd leadership of president Ahmed Silanyo.

The presidency minister was accompanied by the State presidency minister and head of Road Authority.
