Breaking News: President Silanyo shifts ministers and appoints new ministers

HARGEISA- Somaliland President has made cabinet reshuffle in response to the mass resigantions made by gov’t ministers yesterday.

Press Release issued from the presidential palace has confirmed that some of the cabinet ministers shifted while new other named.

!. Minister for Civil Aviation Hon. Mohamud Hashi appointed as the new Presidential affairs minister.

2. Minister of National Planning Hon. Sa’ad Ali Shire has been shifted to the ministry of foreign affairs and International Cooperation.

3. Member of Somaliland House of Assembly, Hon. Ali Mohamud Ahmed alias “Ali Marehan” who is new comer to the cabinet ministers is in charge of the Public Works Ministry.

3. Former Somaliland Representative to Kenya, Ali Husein Ismail Jirde alias ” Ali Shoombe” appointed as the new minister in charge of the National Planning ministry.

4. State Minister of Finance, Hon. Osman Abdilahi Sahardiid shifted to the Civil Aviation ministry.

5. Hon. Husein Adan Egge appointed as the new presidentail spokesman.

6. State minister for the reconciliation for eastern regions Hon. Ali Mohamud Ahmed alias ” Ali Sandule” has been shifted to the ministry of labour and family affairs.
