Members of SL UK based community plan to disrupt Silanyo’s speech in London

Axmed-Siilaanyo1LONDON—- Members of Somaliland UK based diaspora community have sent warning threats and that they will attack the hotel that Somaliland president His Excellency is due to address to the diaspora community.

They have said that they will hackle president’s speech to Somaliland UK based community.

The venue which the president is to make his speech has said that it cannot guarantee the safety and well being of the president to the threats isued by Somalilanders based in the UK.

Talks are underway between the organizing committee and the hotel owners although the members who have issued threats have not been recognzed as far  as the situation is concerned.

They are believed to be members that have deep seated hatred against Somaliland as peaceful country in the Horn of Africa.

Somaliland citizens are expecting to hear a well written speech touching thorny issues ranging from the current situation in the country due to the political campiagn within the ruling Kulmiye party.

The ongoing political division within Kulmiye which  resulted the rift between rival groups which are siding with candidates.

President’s speech is due to focus on the killing of two young boys in Awdal after police open fire due to pitch invasion.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson has given the green light that Somaliland president’s speech to the diaspora community must go ahead as planned.

A group of anti Somaliland statehood have gathere together and put in place  a plan to disrupt Silanyo’s speech to Somaliland UK based community.

The group scattered warning letters signaling that they will attack the hotel if the president goes ahead with his planned speech to Somaliland community in the UK.

Mayor of London, Boris has informed all London law enforcement agencies to take in charge of the security of Somaliland president.

On the other hand, the UK gov’t has launched an immediate investigation when it comes to the group that issued threats against the president.

The step taken by London mayor has pleased hundreds of Somaliland diaspora community that live in the UK and are now getting themselves ready to go and listen to the president’s speech.

The mayor of London has deployed police that are in charge of the security and the safety of the president as well as the audiance.

Reports say that the event is to get underway soon.
