Somali Women’s Circle Network: join us – Global Prayer for Peace in Somalia
If you are a Somali patriot, or a friend of Somali, please accept our call for global “ Prayer for Peace in Somalia,” and join our campaign.
Traditionally, when rain is late for a long time, Somalis organize a “Roob doon”, or a “prayer for rain”. Surah Nuh 71:10-11 “…Ask forgiveness from your Lord; For he is Oft- Forgiving. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers”
Now that we all agree that peace in Somalia has been late for decades, we want you to join us for a worldwide Duco “Nabad Doon” or “Prayer for Peace in Somalia.” We want to launch this campaign today,
Friday September 19, 2014, and complete the first phase on October 4, 2014 which is the day of the Eid Adha prayer at the Hajj. Remember what is approaching us is the best days of the year- the first 10 days of Dul Hajjah (most likely, this coming Thursday until the Day of Arafah- the day before Eid Al-Adha).
For now, we want you to raise awareness about this worldwide “Nabad Doon” by adapting your own approach. It is your campaign too. Please spread the campaign to gatherings such as homes, mosques, schools, and social media, etc. The Duca is “May Allah deliver sudden and sustainable peace as a gift to Somalia and all Somalis”. Somalis deserve peace and prosperity; it is a right.
Sura baqara, aya 186, Allah says, “I am near; I accept the prayers of those who pray.”
“# Prayer for peace in Somalia, Sept 19 to Oct 4, 2014”.
If you decide to join us, have ideas to share, or carried out an action, we love to hear from you. Please contact us at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Somali-Women-Circle-Network/222962414428330
