In view of the progress and development noticed throughout the country, President Ahmed pave the way to be sole and only candidate for his party on next S/L election due by 2015.‏

No doubt it was a historic moment when president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud  took the oath of presidency and became the 4th president of Somaliland.  It is expected that, the president will score 50 % of the casted votes in view of his popularity. His electing brought majority of somailanders joy and pleasure as same manner in which the most of the international community pleased when Barak Hussein Obama was elected as the first American president of black origin. The words said by the president Ahmed in his inauguration speech containing characterises of hope, progress and patriotism.. It seemed that he was addressing each person individually, to be strong, to never give up and to assume an “I Can” attitude.

Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud realized his potential and his purpose, so can each one of us. He never lost his poise no matter what his opponent said about him. Calmly and steadily he pressed forward, so can each one of us. He intends to bring about a change in Somaliland and the region. Even when you think loving and compassionate thoughts, you are changing the world. Maybe you don’t know or believe it but the fact is that your thoughts have tremendous power and they have a profound effect on your life. Combined thought patterns of all of us shape the reality of the Somaliland that we live in.

When your heart is in what you do, you produce the best you can. The love and joy that you feel is reflected in your work. Whatever it is then that you produce is it a product or service it not only improves your life spiritually and financially but it also improves the lives of other people too. It makes the world a better and happier place. It doesn’t matter how much of an impact you make on this world but the important thing is that you do. I would also like to say a few words about Amina Mohamoud Jirde, Amina  Waris  I don’t know much about her but she appears to be quite down to earth and so humble. Both the President and the Amina appears quite grounded.

I am not saying that the President is perfect and will magically solve all the problems that people expect him to solve. However he has a strong will, persistence and a good heart, I believe that these qualities will be a big help to him on his journey towards his goals and ambitions. Here are a few words from his speech, “In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of shortcuts or settling for less. Our development and economy have increased beyond imagination.

Economic development is the sustained, concerted actions of policy makers and that promote the living standard of the people .Economic development can also be referred to as the quantitative and qualitative changes in the economy. Such actions can involve multiple areas including development of human capital, education, regional development, environmental, social inclusion and other initiatives. Economic development differs from economic growth

What metric best measures a nation’s progress? A composite metric that is a combination of different factors is not as sound as it may seem at first sight because of the subjective bias involved in the weights allotted to individual factors. A more fundamental approach I believe is to think through what is most critical for a particular nation at a particular point in time and then define a metric based on this single, most crucial factor that would contribute most to a nation’s progress.

With regard the current issues of Somaliland, in line with strategic guidelines laid down by president, the government has attained successive achievement for the major domains of the development. Schools fees were exempted from the students and that generated indirect investment for the society. The old currency notes left by former government which become valueless was replaced by a new currency notes from Somaliland and this also generate also public investment.  Our national budget was raised up from US $ 47 to 152 millions, in other words three times more in contrast with last year of the former administration. Tens of development projects like water resources, education, agriculture, roads, the new government ministerial buildings, various asphalt roads, hospitals and establishing national TV and Radio.

Taken these fast developments enjoying and experiencing its honey moon period as we have noticed tens of projects completed or undergoing in various regions and districts of the country. The competed or undergoing projects that would enhance economic boost, promote employment opportunities to our unemployed youth to overcome the human terrific and ensure rising the other essential public domains.

The progress and the achievement attained by the government has influenced the civil society initiating similar contribution from their end as we see roads, hospitals and schools funded  and financed by the public in many region an districts of the country. With regard to foreign diplomatic, Somaliland is enjoying its best image since we reclaim our Independence from Somalia in 1991. Somaliland president was welcomed by UK prime minster in down street, Emir of Kuwait, Turkish prime minster Recept Tayyip Erdogon, UAE top officials, most of east Africa heads of states and furthermore welcome tens of dignitaries from the international community.  The difference between successful person and the others is not lack of knowledge, not lack of strength, but rather the lack of will, which was totally absent prior to this administration.

The principle will powerwhich was absent earlier, has been adapted by the current government and the same has produced fruitful beneficial results. Few years ago, it was a distant dream constructing and travelling with new asphalt made road, but that dream is translated into reality nowadays. The project for Eragavo and Burao is historic achievement to be remembered by the people over a long period of time, as such projects has never been implemented in our country even at the time of various Somali governments from 1960 and until 1991.

In the rational acceptable wisdom, if represent for a name of person and represents another one, what matters is who performs better than one with regards capabilities and transparency. Somali-land territory covers 637,657 kilometres that of consist of plateaus, plans and highland and almost 70 % of these land falls from Hargeisa (The capital) and towards east and upon completion of this road thousands of trucks and cars will benefit the road.  A safe and efficient transportation system provides numerous economic benefits such as reduce vehicle and fleet maintenance costs to increase economic development and job creation.  well maintained roads allows convenient and safe access, importing and exporting products, safer travel, reduced congestion, reduced usage and improves quality of life.  Enhance tourism opportunities overall boost to economic vitality.

The qualities that make a good president, presidential election years generate a massive responsibility for the public voters. The public is charged with choosing the person who will serve as the next president. In order to decide who the best person for the job is, an evaluation must be performed of the candidate’s experience and qualities. Choosing the right person goes beyond political party affiliation, it goes to choosing the candidate with the right stuff. To begin with the voters must examine the traits that make a good president. Studies suggest that “stubbornness and disagreeableness” are two traits “associated with great presidents.” Even though these are not admirable traits, they assist in the making of a great president.

The president should be opinionated and willing to stand firm for what he believes is best for the country. Therefore, these qualities often equate to someone who is not easily swayed and is confident in his decisions. The president must be willing to take a stance for what he believes in to prove he is working in the best interest of the country. Additionally, researchers indicate that great presidents “are more extroverted, open to experiences, assertive and focused on. It is no hesitation that, the current will be nominated to stand as the candidate of the Kulmiye for the election due by 2015.

With respect to some personalities in Somaliland who are against the law and order of the country, let them know the following: A commitment to equal liberty implies an impartial rule of law. That is, the law should be the same for everyone in both criminal and civil matters. Freedom of speech, assembly, and press are must be exercised in the event intended to hurt the feeling of voters without valid grounds as accustomed by the owner of Haatuf News paper Mr. Gaboobe, moral issues are problems which require a person or organization to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as ethical (right) or unethical (wrong). In short, they are questions concerning what is moral or right.

They are mostly prevalent in business. An ethical issue is a problem or situation that requires a person or organisation to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as right or wrong. The choice that is right is said to be ethical while the wrong one unethical. Moral issue is a philosophy that seeks to address questions morality.  In conclusion, if millennium is a period of time equal to 1000 years, then the millennium of Somaliland is when the current president resumes office in 1210.

Millennium (plural millennia). It derives from the Latin mile millennium is a period of time equal to 1000 years. It is used specifically for periods of thousand years that begin at the starting point (initial reference point) of the calendar in consideration (typically the year “1”), or in later years that are whole number multiples of a thousand years after it.  Poems are a reflection of someone’s deep, inward beliefs, about their feelings and their experiences. They tend to speak about a person’s ability to stand up strongly in life. They encourage us through a rather profound collective power that is our own shared reflections on life.

They inform us of our own positive vision of ourselves and of all of our amazing possibilities. Poems about leadership are often about a specific leader or they may touch on an important leadership quality: courage, for instance. It could, however, be about anything that may inspire us to lead others, to trust our own identity, to examine what it really means to be alive, or perhaps more importantly, to live for something that is much larger than ourselves. Leadership is one of those words that touch everything in the human workplace. It is probably the widest and strongest bridge that connects people with the systems in which they work. It is a word that reaches in and touches the very ideas of an organization, the meaning of its culture and of the society in which it operates. Even the process of talking about leadership is of great benefit, especially in times like these when people are feeling so tense and so afflicted. Great leaders lead by example. Encourage the heart, enable and empower, inspire shared vision, go to people and love them, built on what they have
The fast achievement, development and progress attained by the government since came to office in 1210 has been noticed through the country as a result influenced that over 90 % of the Somaliland have witnessed and recognized this reality. This situation has generated the rise of popularity of the government under leadership of President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud.  Considering this un-doubtful progress sourced very high popularity for his government.

Popularity is a social phenomenon that dictates who or what is best liked, the more pervasive something is, the more people have access to it. Since popularity is judged in a social context, the more people who support or know something or someone, the more popular it will then be judged. Inter personally, people can alter their appearance to change how others perceive them, causing popularity to increase or decrease in the form of individual likability or group consensus. While popularity is a trait often ascribed to an individual, it is an inherently social phenomenon and thus can only be understood in the context of groups of people. Popularity is a collective perception, and individuals report the consensus of a group’s feelings towards an individual or object when rating popularity.

It takes a group of people to like something, so the more that people advocate for something or claim that someone is best liked, the more attention it will get, and the more popular it will be deemed. People who influence our lives in positive ways a called role models, it is a key quality of a leader to be a role model. Followers want to follow a leader who they can point to as an example in almost everything they do. Good leaders set the pace for their followers by their lifestyle, behaviour, and actions. Leaders are a role model. History teaches us that unity is strength, and cautions us to submerge and overcome our differences in the quest for common goals, to strive, with all our combined strength, for the path to true African brotherhood and unity. We are all equal in the fact that we are all different. We are all the same in the fact that we will never be the same.

We are united by the reality that all colours and all cultures are distinct & individual.  In conclusion, taken in account his leadership quality, popularity noticed throughout the country and the progress attained by his government in its three and half years in office paved him to be the sole candidate for his party in the next Somaliland election due by 2015. The people of Somaliland are interested opening ears for the so-called ex-minters who talks against the government when lose their positions as minster in view of their incompetency. The progress attained by this government three years in office is more the combined years of three former administrations in Somaliland.
