Kenyan Parliamentary Delegation Arrives In Somaliland

Hargeisa, Nov 06, 2013 (SDN) -A Kenyan parliamentary delegation has on today arrived in Hargeisa for a three-day visit to hold talks with Somaliland government officials.  The Kenyan delegation that arrived in Hargeisa late Wednesday will hold talks with Somaliland president Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo and Somaliland parliament. The Kenyan parliamentarians are also scheduled to make a visit to the different regions of the country.

The Kenyan parliamentary delegation has been cordially received upon arrival by Members of Somaliland’s bi-cameral parliament headed by MP Ahmed Yasin Sh. Ali Ayanle.

MP Ahmed Yasin has said that the main reason behind the visit of Kenya’s parliamentary delegation in the country is to consolidate and enhance the bilateral ties between the two countries.
