Center for Somali American Engagement recognizes and notes that Somalia is indeed in testing times and the current Federal Government of Somalia has failed to delivery basic needs for all Somalis and its commitments in terms of bringing peace, security and restore, adheres to country’s genuine Provision Federal Constitution.
The Current Federal Government of Somalia has failed to share resources and delivery foreign aid and granted in name of people of Somalia, moreover; the Federal Government of Somalia has rejected to engage and reach out to both regionals and local partners. The reality matters and the result is rampant insecurity and instability continues in Somalia today. The Center of Somali American Engagement calls upon the international community to engage this issue. Also Somalia cannot be a hostage to small group (one ethnic) Al-shabaab, Damul-Jadiid.
The Federal Government of Somalia should stop supporting groups that responsible for public incitement and political unrest in different regions of Somalia, current FGS leadership has failed to address main issues that Somalia faces today and misrepresents Somalia and Somali
people at international level.
Somali Federal Government leadership, it seems that haven’t learned from the past. In meantime, the International Community, led by EU, and US , AMISON should pressure the current president of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud to respect country’s genuine Provision Federal Constitution.
