Tripute Paid To Khadra Muhumed Abdi

Khadra Muhumed Abdi was a girl from Hargeisa,Somaliland her father was muhumed Abdi well known and wealthy man who was the owner of the Oriental Hotel of Hargeisa.
Oriental Hotel was stunning and shinning Hotel in the heart of Hargeisa city, the colour of the hotel was yellow and everybody from the city knew it and. in the 1950’s was a five star Hotel in whole of Somalia And unfortunately due to the war between Somali National Movement and the Siyad Barre government forces.
The Hotel was heavely damaged but it survived and still stand in the same position as it was 1950’s.
Khadra who was the daughter of Muhumed Abdi and she was pass away in May 2013 in London. Khadra was lovely and would do anything for any body and she was very kind An extremely loving mother she was also one of the kindest, most pleasnt women could hope you to meet.
Khadra was one of those came to UK as refugees in 1989 while SNM and Siyad Barre government was faghting in the former North West of Somalia (now is Somaliland).Khadra said with her interview for Africa Watch ” Before people talk about the future,it is necessary to understand what brought this situation about.It is not only question of what the solution is,but firstly understand how and why all this happened.Apart of the solution must lie in the answer to that question.
We all have homes, cities to which we are deeply attached.Today,the lucky ones are refugees in Britain, Canada and Holland and majority are in camps in Ethiopia,or waiting in Dire Dawa and Djibouti to get out or trapped inside Somalia means former North West of Somali but is Somaliland today.prosperous city-dwellers, civil servant,businessmen,the expeienced,the educated and our youth, all those who should be at home building our futures are all refugees. The world must understand that we are not here because we wanted to live else where.We have been driven out.
After twenty fifty years for that day Khadra said that we are Somaliland independent country but again International Community does not understand our case and did not offer a full diplomatic recognition which our people of Somaliland deserve. Shame on UN, UK US, EU,AU, I gad, and entirely International Community for their blatantly illegally objection for the recognition of Somaliland independent. Your illegal objection is appalling; unmercy chilling.unjustified.unlawful harsh and dictate the democratic choice of Somaliland become an independent nation in 1991. Khadra left four boys who all living London Iam asked my Allah for Khadra Muhumed Abdi to give the best paradise of Fardows and she will be there the rest of her lives until the day of judgment.
